Happy Indapendace day!

Wow, it is another Fourth of July! Happy Birthday Dad, hope you had fun in New York! We had a blast this fourth, met up with new friends, saw awesome fireworks, and spent time as a family. Damon even let me cuddle him once in a while. (Especially during the Fire works.) I loved every moment of it.
Hope everyone had a good holiday. Lets not forget what it stands for!!!

Isn't this such a great picture! This was taken the last time we saw eachother. Gosh I can't beleive it has been that long already! Isn't she adorable??? Do we look related or not, I can't tell!!
Who woulda thought that some day my lil sis would be my best friend??? If you would have told me that when she was 6 and I was 12, I woulda laughed. The idea isn't as funny now that I am almost 30. She is pretty great.
I don't mean to leave you boys out, we just have a differant relationship!

couldn't help myself

O.K I wasn't gonna write anything else, but then I saw this picture. How freakn cute is that. Yes, Damon is a bit rough with the rats, but he just digs them sooo much! Under my watchful eye they can be together.Those little guys can hold there own though, they either run to me for protection or hide under the pillow. Cute Picture ehhh??!!

This is for you Tiff!

This is Damon and his " Blankie" He actually has two "Blankies" but the funny this is, they pretty much are the same. His favorite aunt Tiff made him a blanket and then one similar for his sister, and he has pretty much claimed them both. ( Hey at least when one wears out I already have a back up)
I love these blankets, . I doubt Tiffany could have imagined all of the places that they would go. 90 degree weather and all. this blanket goes everywhere. I can't even keep the thing off the dirty floor. I stick it in his crib and 5 minuets later he is dragging it out again. I am so stoked that he loves it. I know Tiff put a lot of time and love into them, maybe that is why he loves it so much. Thanx SIS!!!

Another Hot Day in Paradise...

Holy Moly it is hot here! I knew it was coming, but dang!!!! This of course is the kids playing at a park. There is nothin like a half frozen caprison to cool and quench. Didn't think we would need it so soon. It is only 8:30 am and I am already ready to go hide in the air conditioning. We have to wake up at 8:00 to play at the park before it is absulutely unbareable. But I guess this is the price we pay to live in paradise.....

Using a spoon...

Here Damon is, his first time using a spoon. The delicious meal being black beans and rice. I am sooo glad we have tile floors in our house! What a fun mess to watch being made. I know I need to treasure these moments, because the next time it will be my grand babies!

Afternoon at the Farm

It is Tristan's 5th birthday and we are at a little petting farm in Port Richey, Florida. We actually came here to let Tristan pick out a little baby rat for her birthday, but she does not know that part of the plan. The farm was pretty cool. It had bunny rabbits, goats, roosters, Hens and even some horses. The owners even saddled up a pony for Tristan and Damon to ride, but to my surprise they were not interested in a slow moving pony. The goats were the stars of the show. After about 2 hours of checking out the farm we finally let Tristan in on our little plan. We brought home Buttercup and Raddy, ( both boys, no little rat babies for us!) I think Tristan was not the only one to fall in love with those little guys! They are sooooooo cute! Tiny and lovable. They fall asleep together right on my shoulder. A great addition to our family. ( who said there would be no more babies in this house?)

So here we are, it is Damon's first birthday, cake time, you know the routine... This is pretty bitter sweet for me. I know that he is my last baby and yet he wants to grow so fast. I mean come on, enjoy the babyhood buddy, but no. He has got to be the one who crawls before his time, walking by 9 1/2 months. soon he will be talking. Don't get me wrong. I love the fact he is so idependant, but I love having a baby. It is going by soooo quick!~
I love watching him be amazed by the world he gets this look on his face that just melts my heart. And then there is the relationship he has with his sister. He adores her, as she does him.... She was the first to actually get him to laugh. I can't blame him she is pretty funny!
They chase eachother around the house, he usually ends up crying and I hear Tristan saying shhh shhh its o.k ( she knows she is in trouble!) but I have to walk out of the room and laugh... they are some crazy kids!
